Jack and Jill

"Jack and Jill went up the hill " as the song goes,
but the real story behind the song nobody knows.
"to fetch a pail of water" but of what kind?
is the main question that comes to mind...
"Jack fell down and broke his crown" but why and how?
oh, if there is just an answer, we could find out now....
"and Jill came tumbling after" could've she survived?
the answer to the question nigh or so contrived.

Jack and Jill were King and Queen of the Land...
but Jack was power hungry and it got out of hand.
for the water they fetched was no ordinary water,
it was a type of liquid that every kingdom was after...
it had many names but mostly known as the "Elixir of Life"
and Jack had all intentions to sacrifice his loving wife.
when they reached the hill it gave Jill such a bother,
for the pail that they had was like no other.
As they reached the top Jill realized the truth,
that Jack was using her to sacrifice her youth.
In a sudden burst of rage Jill fought Jack,
emotions strong,
Jill fighting for her life and Jack, in his actions, sees no wrong.
Finally Jack lost his balance and fell off the Hill,
and Jill came tumbling after to go in for the Kill.
In his dying breath she drank the magical water...
in ironic twist of fate, Jill Lived happily ever after.
